Go Green with Goodwill
“The Original Green Company”

We like to think of Goodwill as the “original green company”.  In 1930, when Goodwill of Southern Indiana

was founded, the word recycling wasn’t even a part of our vocabulary.

However, recycling is exactly what we’ve been doing the past 80 years.  We’ve been about
reducing, reusing and recycling since our inception.

Reduce
We all have items we no longer need.  Instead of throwing those items away where they will end
up in our landfills, donate them to Goodwill of Southern Indiana.

Reuse
Goodwill of Southern Indiana sells items you donate in our Goodwill stores throughout Southern Indiana. 
Your unwanted items are given new life; in return the sales of donated goods fund services for
children and adults with disabilities and disadvantages.

Recycle
Items that cannot be sold in our stores are recycled and the revenue is also used to fund services.

Donating to Goodwill is recycling at its best!
